Project Manager for Development

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for someone who wants to take on the challenge of participating in the municipality's development work. We are investing in strengthening what exists here with a focus on experiences, business, and community life while also developing processes more clearly together with external actors in areas such as housing construction, relocation, and business establishment.

In your role as project manager, you will navigate between the strategic and the operational, where your ability to articulate overarching strategies will be as important as your ability to listen and build relationships.

To develop the municipality as a whole, we depend on the strong commitment that exists in Hylte. Many of these forces are voluntary and/or have other full-time jobs. Therefore, your ability to act as a catalyst and assemble cross-sectoral groups to produce the necessary applications, materials that can be used, plans that help us move forward, etc., will be appreciated!

Your job responsibilities will also include:

• Collaborating and dialoguing with relevant actors both externally and internally.
• Developing processes together with external actors in areas such as housing construction and business establishment.
• Seeking funding and initiating meetings with actors who have not yet found their common contact point.
• Being responsible for developing overarching strategies related to establishments.
• Proactively seeking potential establishments.
• Strengthening collaboration with external actors, such as businesses, Region Halland, community life, and other municipalities.
• Representing Hylte municipality in various areas by responding to consultations, for example.

You will report to the Head of Development and Sustainability and will be placed in the municipal management administration.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is driven, development-oriented, responsible, and has high social competence. You should have a relevant university degree and/or other experience that we find equivalent. We would also like you to have experience in driving development work in contexts where multiple organizations are involved.

The position requires that you have a very good ability to express yourself in both spoken and written Swedish and English. We also believe that you have experience working in a municipal context.

A strong focus is placed on your ability to build relationships, anchor, and lead processes both internally and externally. For this position, it is an advantage if you live in Hylte municipality, have a connection here, or plan to move to the area. We value local knowledge and engagement in the local community, as this can contribute to a better understanding of our operations and those we serve.

You will be a strong support for management and operations on the continued journey forward, and we place great importance on personal suitability.
